My name is Katie Nickson BA (Hons), I am 23 years , from Cheshire and I run Shutter Bugz Photography and Media. In 2018 I graduated from the University of Derby after studying Commercial Photography for 3 years and gaining the classification of a First Class Honours. I am a keen and enthusiastic photographer who aims to create the best photographs for all of my clients.
I cover a variety of genres within my work including, Sports, Equestrianism, Weddings commercial advertisement and more!

Over the years I have thrived in meeting new clients and pushing new ideas for photoshoots in all genres.
I have worked closely with a professional photographer who works with corporate events and general sports. This photographer taught me how to work with clients both behind the camera and selling prints.
Where I attended university I was asked to be a volunteer photographer and capture games in progress such as, rugby, football, lacrosse, netball, basketball etc.

As I have pushed myself over the years I have gained new clients, new jobs roles and thousands of photos for all portfolios.
​
I have a large passion for horses and anything for that matter in the equestrian world. A lot of my work you find will be based on horses or horse themes, such as the riders.
​
My main subject is definitely Equine Photoshoots! I LOVE THEM! More recently I have photographed children who have gained a photoshoot with myself as a birthday present and what fun we have all had!
